As much as I would want to understand this movies message, I dont like the African depiction. As an African decent and someone who was born and raised in Africa, this is not the average way an African is raised. Movie makers always go to the remotest part of Africa only to prey on the poorest and ignorant ppl. I DONT LIKE THIS AND I WILL RAISE A CAMPAIGN AGAINST IT!!

@afiadoma1 – I’m sorry you feel this way. I just saw the movie today, and I was touched and impressed with the adult-child interactions I was observing with the Namibian family. This baby in many ways seemed happier than the others.

Afia; I don’t believe the African seemed at all ignorant. Yeah it probably wasn’t how you were raised, but do you think all the kids from Mongolia are raised that way? I think they were taking two city countries and two rural countries. I think they did great, however, I’d like to see a baby from India raised. Over all amazing movie and will be seeing it again.

@txnurse9 you are an idiot – let this just be beautiful and don’t try so hard to make everything political – sheesh

  14. geeezzzberger says:

@afiadoma1 I’m sure it is insulting and I support your outrage. Still . . . enjoy the babies they do show.
