2 things one i Know the best lake for pike fishing every weekend i go up there and come back with a ton of pike if u would like to know where this place is send me an e-mail second thing: i caught a 52 inch northern pike up there it was beast i called it Mr. Big i released the pike though did want to mount it because i catch like 36-60 inch nothern all the time but i only keep the 20 inchers because they taste the best so contact me for more info!!!!

on a ultra light fishing rod nice
Clip ended when line snapped, i had a pike around same size,(about size of my leg) on a really small ultra light trout pole, maybe 3 feet , and 4 pound test, used a suspending splash bait, fought for about a good minute and a half, 2 minutes, got it to shore, and line snapped 3 foot off shore , Horrible experience, hahaha

i just got back from a fishing trip in whisconsin and i had a huge northern on. we estimated 15 lbs. we lost at the boat. took my lure. but i still caught a nice little 4 lbs. northern.
Of course the line snapped when that old guy kept holding the line with his hands.
Didn’t look like they had tackle or gear adequate enough for a fish that size! Probably broke the line when the pike thrashed and got the line on his teeth or gill rakers since they most likely weren’t using leaders.
