@Preluding99 First of all because this show the ignorance of these guys and you about the bible. These ceremonial laws were given to Israel because God was protecting them from sickness and disease (they didn’t have the sanitation and cleaning tools we have today). I Timothy says “all meat shall be for you to eat and nothing to be refused if received with thanksgiving” so no his argument is not valid! but all throughout the bible including Romans chapter homosexuality is condemned.
@Preluding99 However, I do agree with him on issues like divorce; yes it’s wrong, do Christians get divorced yes, but it’s still wrong! and there are many other things; As well as being gay it is still wrong and God will stil judge it! Jesus said that we should not divorce except for the cause of fornication. But hey your are right a change is gonna come it very well is.

@hullbeaty All gay men are not effeminate. They sleep with other men yes, that does not make them effeminate however. And what about gay women? Or is it ob to be a lesbian? There are 7 verses that talk about this, I know. None of it says its being gay is a sin.

You know I cant morally see anything against gay marriage, but what I see gay marriage threatening is the sanctity of marriage. I mean yes let gays marry, what’s next? Is gay marriage not a stepping stone to polygamy? Where do we draw the line?
@YouNobleIvory Ah, the “Slippery Slope” argument. Obviously to people of the same sex marrying will lead to a man marrying a monkey. It’s unavoidable! Seriously though, two people of the same sex marrying each other has nothing to do with polygamy. We can draw the line at two consenting adults, is that enough for you?
@chicraig6421 Gay sex is inherently fornication. Fornication is any sex outside of marriage. “..he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, and said, For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife, and they shall twain be one flesh..” (Matthew 19:5) Being gay is not a sin, you’re right, and it is not chosen – but acting on those desires by committing fornication is a sin.
@ThePeacefulTraveler – Thats a good argument for gay marriage. So ‘sin’ can be removed. In some states there is marriage, so gays would not be fornicators; in some civil unions, similar to marriage. However, using ur argument gays need marriage so they are not considered fornicators and sinners in the eyes of the Christian faith.

@chicraig6421 There’s no such thing as “gay marriage” just like there’s no such thing as cold heat.
However, I do not mind “gay marriage” in the civil sense myself – I agree with CS Lewis when he says that the government can set whatever marriage laws it wants. But the government’s marriage exists independently of true marriage. I’m alright with gays getting their state-granted pseudo-marriage, but I still recognize that only husband and wife can form a true marriage.
Read the Bible yes we should and if we go by one thing we should not pick and Chose what is right and wrong and Morals . It is the words of GOD. Yes we are living in a fallen non perfect life cause Adam and Eve. Were cursed GODs DNA is now not perfect Like It said it was.
